You fill in three things. Openevent fills in the rest.

Event name, date, time. That is the whole form.

Openevent creates the calendar entry, puts in your venue, your address, your logo and your currency, and adds the ticket types you saved last time. The page is online and can take money straight away.

One ticket type. Everything you get to decide.

Price, how many, and the dates it goes on sale and stops. A different price at the door that buyers never see. A drink or bar credit that comes with the ticket. VAT. A name on every ticket.

Set it once, save it as your template, and every event after this one starts the same way.

Build the page yourself. No designer, no developer.

Fifteen blocks you drag where you want them: banner, photos, tickets, text, sponsor logos, your own footer. Switch between the phone and the desktop view while you build. Undo anything. When you save, your text is translated into French and German on its own, so your guests read the page in their own language.

Let promoters run their own list.

Give each promoter, artist or staff member their own link. You decide how many names they get, how many plus ones, and when the link closes.

They add their own guests, you never touch it. Everyone gets a QR code. After the night you can see who actually brought people and who did not.

On the night, the screen changes by itself.

Openevent knows the doors are open. You see how many people are in, split by ticket, guest list and door. The last fifty scans update as people walk in.

The next morning it shows you the busiest minute of the night, so next time you put more staff on the door at the right hour.

See how many more you will sell, before you sell them.

Openevent looks at how fast you have been selling and tells you roughly where you will end up.

About 120 more by 14 November, against 90 tickets left, means you stop paying for ads and put the price up.

You don't work for the software.
The software works for you.

No data entry, no reconciliation, no chasing tools that don't talk to each other. Tickets sell, contacts build themselves, payouts land in your Stripe, the door scans against the same database. Your job is to run events. Openevent does the admin.

Two screens, one story.

The public ticket page on the left, what the buyer sees and pays on. The Crew App check-in view on the right, what the door team sees as they scan. Purchase to arrival, all-in-one platform.

Staff

No more 'hobby operations'. Door teams check their shifts, swap with colleagues, and keep an overview of their hours and pay.

POS

With the Openevent Crew app, every staff member can accept card payments directly from their iPhone (Android coming soon). Customise menus per outlet, assign staff, and track every penny.

Your audience is built automatically.

Every person who buys a ticket, fills in a form or attends an event is saved as a contact, with no manual data entry, ever.

Smart CRM is the capture layer: it quietly records every interaction and builds a behavioural profile per client over time, which events they attended, how many times they came back, when they checked in, whether they bought in advance or at the door.

Turning that audience into segments and campaigns is the job of Marketing & CRM. Same database, two surfaces.

The number that actually reaches your bank.

Most ticketing tools show you the total sold. Openevent shows you what is left after Stripe takes its fee and after our 1%, with both written out. Cash taken at the door costs nothing at all. If someone cancels two tickets out of six, you refund exactly those two and the other four still scan.

Built like the rest of Openevent.

Ticketing is not a bolted-on add-on. It's part of the same platform that runs the rest of your operation.

Nothing typed twice

Sales, payments, guests and contacts sit in one database. Your accountant sees the same numbers you do.

Promoter attribution

Individual links and codes per promoter. Track sales down to the person.

Door sales

Take cash or card via Tap to Pay on iPhone, integrated into the same dashboard.

Table & section reservations

Sell complete tables, sections or VIP areas. Combine ticket types per booking.

What's in the ticket

Put a drink, a bar credit or a merch bag in a ticket. The door redeems it and it's counted.

Your page in three languages

Write your event once. French and German versions are made for you when you save.

The event detail view is the operational core of Openevent, the single place where everything about an event lives. Fully modular: no clutter, no fixed structure, just what matters.

Common questions

  • Openevent takes 1%* on payments processed through the platform. Stripe processing fees are separate. There are no monthly subscriptions or setup costs.
  • Yes. Revenue is paid directly into your own Stripe account as each ticket is sold. We never hold your money.
  • Yes. Create as many ticket categories as you like, early-bird, standard, VIP, and sell whole tables or sections with combined ticket types per booking. Discount codes, capacity limits and custom checkout questions are all built in.
  • Yes. When you save your event page, your description and ticket text are translated into French and German automatically. You write the event once and your guests read it in their own language.
  • Yes. Give each promoter, artist or staff member their own link. You set how many names they get, how many plus ones and when the link closes. Everyone who signs up gets a QR code, and afterwards you can see who actually brought people.
  • Yes. Each ticket type can carry a separate door price that never appears on your public page. It only shows in the Crew App, for the person selling at the door.
  • Yes. Add a welcome drink, a bar credit with a value and an expiry, or anything else you like to a ticket type. Your door team redeems it in the Crew App and it is counted.
  • A clean, fully-branded ticket page that looks like you, not a marketplace listing. Guests pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or TWINT and receive their QR ticket by email instantly.
  • Yes. The Crew App supports cash and card door sales, including Tap to Pay on iPhone, no separate terminal needed.
  • Yes. Each promoter gets their own link or code, with full attribution tracking down to the individual sale.
  • Yes. Import from Excel, CSV, Word or a pasted list of names, and map the columns once. The import deliberately sends no emails, so a list of 400 people does not turn into 400 messages.
  • Yes. Set a VAT rate per ticket type and it appears on your public page, the ticket PDF, the confirmation email and the Stripe receipt. You can also track a custom tax line separately.
  • Yes. You can cancel individual tickets rather than the whole order. Those QR codes stop working, the rest still scan, and you choose how much to refund.
  • You handle refunds in a few clicks from your own Stripe account, and the money goes straight back to your guest. The 1%* on a refunded ticket isn't returned, as it has already been settled.
The audience you build through ticketing is the same one you activate through Marketing & CRM, same database, no import, no sync.
